Throughout this journey called life, I’ve realized how important it is to set goals. This is the first year I genuinely placed energy into setting personal goals and making them a reality. One of my main goals was to become a paid food stylist. Full transparency, I never thought it would happen. I mean, I believe in myself, but I never thought it would happen so quickly. Putting effort towards achieving my goals has allowed me to travel to over 6+ cities and style over 2,000 plates. My most recent paid gig landed my in Dallas, Texas. Possibly not the most glamorous place to travel, but it was really fun and I enjoyed some really great food. If you’re traveling to Dallas anytime soon make sure you keep this Dallas Eats Guide handy.

Texas is such a massive state that often times I forget how cool the other cities outside of Houston are.  Ironically, although only four hours away, Dallas is a bit foreign to me.  Not being familiar with the city  and it’s food culture, I was interested (maybe even excited!) to see what it had to offer. Although I enjoyed some delicious food while in Dallas, I did experience some trash goods for sure! But pound for pound I have to admit that the culinary culture was similar to Houston. Please believe as I type this It sounds weird, but I have to give credit where credit is due.

In addition to great food I also made some really kool kids while I was there! Special shout out to fellow bloggers @BrandisFoodDiary, @Cuzzoab, @FlavasbyDameDash, @_Londonskit and my family @sashamfpn and @v_petty.
